The Sunshine Route is:
- Three days of pure pleasure during an "Open House" event to be repeated annually in June.
- Take one of the numerous roads which criss-cross our corner of the countryside and discover the little municipalities of Amherst, Brébeuf, Huberdeau, Labelle, La Conception, Saint-Faustin-Lac-Carré, Lac Supérieur, that radiate from the pedestrian village of Mont-Tremblant, the internationally renowned holiday destination.
- Some twenty charming homes open their doors to you – our B&Bs and small inns. Savour the warm welcome, cross their thresholds without trepidation; you have an invitation and they await your visit. Whether you are aficionados of this type of accommodation, love beautiful homes or simply curious - come. It's the perfect weekend – we're expecting company!
- Talented artists, innovative artisans, fantastic farms, agro-biological food production, unique activities, natural and historic sites, pastoral countryside, warm welcomes and great food.
The complete tour of some 200 kilometres can be done by bicycle over three days if you wish, or by car or even on foot – there is no end to the stops you can make or lack of lodging.
You can break up the tour into parts and concentrate on one, two or three municipalities if you please. Take a look at the proposed alternatives.
