1. Where can I get a brochure?
At any participating members, at various businesses in the respective municipalities, at the tourism offices, and on the web site.
2. Where do I start the tour?
A. There is not predetermined start – you can start at the establishment of your choice, you can start in any municipality, or go by category, depending on the time you may have or what you want to see. The only thing to remember is that we will be happy to welcome you.
3. What are the dates of the event?
The 2nd edition June 11-12-13, 2010 with the 3rd edition is planned for June 10-11-12, 2011.
4. What are the visiting hours during the event?
From noon to 4:30 PM.
5. What are the visiting hours after the event?
Check with the participating establishments for details see the List of participants.
6. Is there a shuttle?
Not this year. You can get around by car or by bicycle as suggested.
7. How many kilometres are covered?
Between 200 and 250, depending on the route chosen.
8. Can I stay at a B&B?
Certainly, it's the best way to take full advantage of the discovery tour. As a bonus, the participating B&Bs are offering a 10% discount for your stay on any of the three days of the Open House event.
9. What is the goal of the tour?
The tour allows visitors to discover quality lodging, talented artists and artisans and lovely little villages.
10. Why is it called « The Sunshine Route »?
A. Because it is an original idea of the Mont-Tremblant Regional Network of B&Bs and Small Inns whose classification in Quebec is represented by a sun symbol (rather than stars for hotels). Also, because all these establishments on the tour radiate light and energy into their respective communities.
